On 15 May 2026, the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Kitikorn Charmondusit, Dean, together with faculty members, visited the administration of Assumption College Thonburi, led by Brother Supaloek Singhapan, Manager and Assistant Director for General Administration, and Master Khemapas Jardgon, Head of Environmental Affairs.
The meeting aimed to discuss guidelines for initiating a systematic plastic waste management project under the Carbon Neutrality Campus (CNC) initiative. The project focuses on reducing plastic waste, promoting proper waste segregation, and encouraging recycling practices. Assumption College Thonburi, as part of the CNC network, is supported to participate as a pilot school, serving as a model for sustainable waste management implementation in educational institutions.
