Environment Resource Studies

Prof. Dr. Auempron Mutchimwong, Vice President for Finance of Mahidol University, gave a closing speech and gave certificates to the students participating in  the Mahidol University’s Youth Environmental Training “Happiness and Sustainable Environment”, in which Dr. Werachat Chatpanyacharoen, Assistant Dean for Human Resource and the training project chairperson, also gave the project achievement report at Theater Room 4224, 2nd Floor, Badhanatala Environment Building, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies.

  • Today 29 Mar 19, at 10.00 hrs., Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kampanad Bhaktikul, Dean of Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, attended the signing ceremony of the collaborative partnership declaration on Thai soil (Thai Soil Partnership: TSP), at the invitation of World Soil Association, at Meeting Room 801, Land Development Department. The signing ceremony of this declaration is a consequence of Thailand’s participation as a member in Asian Soil Partnership (ASP), along with another 24 country members in Asia, with the purpose of establishing a guideline for soil resource management for its sustainable utilization with the aim of eradicating hunger by 2030, which led to an establishment of the Thai Soil Partnership. The signatories of the collaborative partnership declaration on Thai soil consist of the groups of persons from 7 main sectors with an important role in soil management and utilization that are government, private, public, religious, mass media, academic and people sectors, with Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University as a main organization in support of the information linkage and collaboration as well as an exchange of knowledge among the sectors, which will lead to a sustainable soil management.
