September 1, 2021, 08.45 hrs., Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sura Pattanakiat, Dean of Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol Unjversity, presided over at the opening ceremony of the international training course on “Food System: the Challenge to Changing the Global Environment", virtually organized via Zoom from September 1-8, 2021, in which Dr. Hataichanok Siriwadhanakul, Director of Human Resources Development Cooperation Division, Thailand International Cooperation Agency, also delivered a welcome speech to the participants.
The training is organized to enhance the competency of the 31 participants representing environmental public sector organizations and government departments around the world concerning skills and knowledge in food system management methods and tools as well as to provide a platform where the participants can exhange their knowledge and expereince in the subject with a view to addressing global human hunger.
The training was held with support from Thailand International Cooperation Agency or TICA, and under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nathsuda Pumijumnong, Director of Doctor of Philosophy Program in Environment and Resource Studies (International Program), as a Training Program Director.
