25 Mar 19, at 09.30 hrs., Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kampanad Bhaktikul, Dean of Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, presided over as the signatory at the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Mahidol University by Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Graduate School of Nutritional and Environmental Sciences and Graduate School of Integrated Pharmaceutical and Nutritional Sciences, University of Shizuoka, Japan, which was also participated by Prof. Takashi Amagai and Assoc. Prof. Noriyuki Miyoshi and the faculty's executives and academic staff as witnesses. The event also included a discussion about the possible joint acadmic activities and presentations on the  research work relating to environmental sciences, given by Professors and Academic Staff of the two instutions, at Nart Tuntawiroon Meeting Room, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University.

29 Mar 19, 13.00 – 15.00 hrs., Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kampanad Bhaktikul, Dean, received Prof. Dr. Young Rok Seo, Director of Institute of Environmental Medicine, from  Dongguk University, South Korea, on the occasion of his visit to the faculty to discuss a development of academic collaboration in Environmental Medicine between Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies and Institute of Environmental Medicine, Dongguk University, proceeded by a presentation on “Health Risk & Environmental Diseases Related to Air Condition”, at Meeting Room 4, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies. The meeting was chiefly co-operated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Preeyaporn Koedrith.

11 Mar 19, at 10.00 a.m., Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sayam Aroonsrimorakot, Deputy Dean for International Relations and International Standards, welcomed a group of executives from Bangladesh, led by Mr. Salahuddin Mahmud, Additional Secretary from the Ministry of Industry, Ms. Hazera Khatun, Deputy Secretary, IMED from the Ministry of Planning, Mr. Tanvir Hossain, Deputy Project Director from Bangladesh Institute of Management and Ms. Rumi Tanchangya, Senior Assistant Chief from Bangladesh Planning Commission as well as Mr. Wikhanes Wongwanishwatana, Head of Bilingual Programme in Civil Engineering from the faculty of Engineering, and Ms. Kanoknapa Sriwatthanasakunchai, Programme Assistant from Mahanakorn University of Technology, Bangkok, for a visit to the faculty and the discussion about the faculty operations and managements in terms of research and academic affairs. The meeting was held at Nart Tuntawiroon Meeting Room, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University.

8 Mar 19, at 09.00 hrs., Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kampanad Bhaktikul, Dean of Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, presented the certificates to the student participants at the “MU-NU Spring Training Program 2019 closing ceremony, in which the Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) signing ceremony  between Mahidol University by Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Faculty of Environmental Science, Asian Environmental Resilience Research Center, Graduate School of Fisheries and Environmental Sciences, Nagasaki University, Japan, was also organized with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kampanad Bhaktikul as the MoC signatory, witnessed by Prof. Dr. Hideki NAKAYAMA, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Masafumi IIMA and  Lecturer Dr. Chulaporn Kamnerdpetch (Director of the Training Program) as participants, at Nart Tuntawiroon Meeting Room, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University.

7 Mar 19, 09.00 hrs., Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., Acting President of Mahidol University, delivered an opening speech as the chair and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kampanad Bhaktikul, Dean of Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, gave a welcome speech to the researcher group from Edge Hill University, University of Sussex, University of Brighton and Ambiental Technical Solutions, UK, National Center for Atmospheric Research, USA, led by Professor Cherith Moses, Head of Department of Geography from Edge Hill University, and the researcher group from Mahidol University, Chulalongkorn University and Thammasat University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Kanchana Nakhapakorn from Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, attending the inception meeting and workshop of a research project on “Thai Coast : Coastal Vulnerability, Resilience and Adaptation in Thailand”, which was part of the collaborative research project between the researcher groups in UK and Thailand with the aim of improving understanding of the vulnerability of Thailand’s shoreline as well as enhancing the resilience and adaptation potential of coastal communities to storms, floods and coastal erosion under future climate change scenarios. The project was supported by The Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), The Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), UK, and The Thailand Research Fund (TRF), through the Newton Fund in Thailand. The meeting was held at Satra Methee Dr. Pongpit Piyapong Conference Room, Badhanatala Environment Building, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University.

7 Feb 19, 09.00 hrs., Mr. David W. Stewart, former Senior Vice President of Kimley Horn engineering firm, USA, gave a special talk entitled "South Florida's Water Management Practices in the Past, Present and Future", at Debhanom Muangman Meeting Room, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies. The special talk was organized by Research and Academic Service Department, with Dr. Thomas Neal Stewart, Foreign Expert, as a main coordinator.

31 Jan 19, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kitikorn Charmondusit, Vice President for Environment and Sustainable Development, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sura Pattanakiat, Deputy Dean for Research Administration, Academic Services and Information Technology, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, received a delegation from, Korea National University of Education, South Korea, who came to the university to exchange ideas and learn about the Mahidol University Sustainability management as well as the faculty’s curriculum & programs , environmental research centers and collaborative network. The meeting was held at the meeting room OSM 1, Office of the President, Mahidol University.

24 Jan 19, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jongdee To-im, Advisor for Student Affairs, Mahidol University and Assistant Professor at Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, took Ms. Samantha Anne Morris, an intern from University of Canterbury, New Zealand, on a study visit at Royal Irrigation Department, Bangkok, to take part in a special presentation given by Mr. Thada Sukhapunnaphan, Executive Advisor, Office of Hydrology and Water Management. This study visit is part of the MUUC International Internships, a collaborative project between Mahidol University and University of Canterbury, New Zealand that is organized from 14 Jan – 15 Feb 19.

8 Jan 19, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sura Pattanakiat, Deputy Dean for Research Administration, Academic Services and Information Technology, presided over at the welcome ceremony for Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shimpei Iwasaki and student representatives from Department of Environmental Science, International College of Arts and Sciences, Fukuoka Women's University, Japan, on the occasion of their visit to the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, for a discussion about possible collaborative academic activities and a study tour on pro-environmental behavior and evaluation of environmental education toward sustainable use of natural resources at Mahidol University Salaya Campus and Kanchanaburi Campus during 8-11 Jan 19. The visit and study tour were chiefly coordinated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thamarat Phutthai, Director of Bachelor of Science Program in Environmental Science (International Program).

Prof. Dr. Nathsuda Pumijumnong, Director of Doctor of Philosophy Program in Environment and Resource Studies (International Program).

28 Nov 18, 15.00 hrs., at Meeting Room 4, Nart Tuntawiroon Building, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rattanawat Chaiyarat Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Student Affairs, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Thamarat Phutthai, Director of Bachelor of Science Program in Environmental Science (International Program), and Dr. Thomas Neal Stewart, Foreign Expert, received Prof. Nicole Anderson, Director of International Programs, School of Public Health, Indiana University Bloomington, USA, on the occasion of her visit to the faculty for the discussion about the possibility of developing a collaboration between Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies and Indiana University Bloomington in organizing student exchange, internship and study tour programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
