Asst. Prof. Dr. Jongdee To-im, together with Faculty Members of the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, welcomed a visit from the delegation of assessors from The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization, Regional Tropical Medicine and Public Health Network (SEAMEO TROPMED Network) and gave an interview on the topics pertaining to the evaluation of the activities conducted under the projects organized by Thailand One Health University Network (THOHUN), at Meeting Room 1203.

18 June 18, Associate Professor Dr. Kampanad Bhaktikul, Dean of the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, presided over the opening ceremony of the International Training Course on “Natural Disasters Management” and led a moment of silence to mourn the deaths and the victims of the volcanic eruption in Guatemala. The ceremony is held at Associate Professor (Special) Lek Moncharoen Conference Room, Budhanatala Environmental Building. The training is scheduled to take place at the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, from 18 June - 6 July 2018 and attended by 20 participants from 20 countries all over the world.

18 June 18, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kampanad Bhaktikul, Dean of Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rattanawat Chaiyarat, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Student Affairs, Lect. Dr. Noppol Arunrat, Representative of Bachelor’s Program, Asst. Prof. Dr. Piyakarn Teartisup, Representative of Master's Program, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Benjaphorn Prapagdee, Phd's Program Director, welcomed a visit from Mr. Kyaw Saw Han and Ms. Shwe Yee Tun Aung, Country Manager from Prospect Burma (PB), the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, and participate in a discussion on opportunities for collaboration regarding the scholarships for Myanmar nationals in the PB program who are interested in studying in the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs of the faculty. The meeting was held at Meeting Room 1203, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, Salaya.

On 17 May, 2018, 18.30 – 20.30 hrs., Assist. Prof. Dr. Piyakarn Teartisup, Faculty Member of the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, attended the reception on behalf of the Dean on the occasion of the National Day of Norway at Hotel Grand Hyatt Erawan, at the invitation of Mr. Vegard Holmelid, Minister Counsellor of the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Bangkok.

25 May 18, Asst. Prof. Dr. Auempron Mutchimwong, Vice President for Finance of Mahidol University, presided over and presented certificates to the participants at the closing ceremony of the international training course titled “Industrial Environmental Management with an Emphasis on the Global Warming and Greenhouse Gas Management” at Professor (Special) Lek Moncharoen Conference Room, 2nd floor, Budhanatala Environmental. The training, attended by 17 participants from the countries in Asia, Africa, South America and Europe, is organized with support from Thailand International Cooperation Development Agency or TICA and under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kitikorn Charmondusit, Vice President for Environment and Sustainable Deveoplemnt, as a Training Program Director.

From 26-29 Apr 18, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kampanad Bhaktikul, Dean of Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, together with Lect. Dr. Dr. Noppol Arunrat, went to give a special presentation on the topic “Lanchang-Mekong Climate Change Adaptation” at the invitation of School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China, and participated in a discussion of agreement details concerning the development of academic collaboration and the possibility of establishing a sandwich program between the 2 faculties with the executives of School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Thammarat Putthai, Program Director of Bachelor of Science Program in Environmental Science (International Program), together with Lect. Dr. Noppol Arunrat, Faculty Member, participated in a short-term student exchange project as mentors taking care of 28 students from Singapore Management University (SMU), Singapore. The project, which is scheduled to take place at Mahidol University from 13-26 May, 2018, is collaboration between Mahidol University and Singapore Management University, Singapore.

On 2 May, 201861, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kampanad Bhaktikul, Dean of Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, gave a congratulatory speech and word of wisdom to the faculty’s undergraduate students, who received the Mahidol University Student Mobility Scholarships and will participate in student exchange/ research internship programs at university in China, Japan and Germany, at Nart Tuntawiroon Meeting Room (1103).

7 May 18, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kitikorn Charmondusit, Acting Vice President for Environment and Sustainable Deveoplemnt of Mahidol University, and Training Course Director, presided over and gave an opening remark at the opening ceremony of the international training course on the topic entitled “Industrial Environmental Management with an Emphasis on the Global Warming and Greenhouse Gas Management” at Professor (Special) Lek Moncharoen Conference Room, 2nd floor, Budhanatala Environmental Building. The training, scheduled to be held at the Faculty of the Environment and Resource Studies from 7-25 May, 2018, is attended by 17 participants from the countires in Asia, Africa, South America and Europe.

22 Feb 18, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kampanad Bhaktikul, Dean of Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, delivered a lecture on the topic "Water Resources Management" to the students participating in the "MU-NU Spring Training Program 2018", including graduate students, lectures and interested persons at Professor Emeritus Pongpit Piyapongse Conference Room, Badhanatala Environment Building.

20 Feb 18, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kampanad Bhaktikul, Dean of Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, presided over and gave an opening remark for the “MU-NU Spring Training Program 2018” that is organized from 19 February – 9 March, 2018 and participated by 7 students from Department of Environmental Science, Graduate School of Fisheries and Environmental, Nagasaki University, Japan, and 10 students from the faculty’s bachelor of science program. The training is supervised by Lect. Dr. Chulaporn Kamnerdpetch, Director of the Training Program and Faculty Member, together with Dr. Takayuki TAKESHITA and Dr. Hideki NAKAYAMA from Nagasaki University.
