This collaboration involves the Department of Climate Change and Environment, Songkhla Province, 12 local administrative organizations within the U-Tapao Canal Basin, Prince of Songkla University, and Mahidol University.
The partnership aims to integrate environmental management and climate change response at the local level.
Under this framework, the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, will support research, knowledge development, and innovation, as well as capacity building for local agencies to enhance preparedness in disaster risk reduction and sustainable resource management.
Meanwhile, government and local agencies will work together to implement plans and continuously monitor and evaluate outcomes.
